This Expression of Interest is for players who are new to Taringa Rovers SFC and would like to join the club for the 2027 season.
CURRENT TRSFC PLAYERS SHOULD NOT COMPLETE THIS EOI. Current players will be contacted separately with information about 2027 team placements and registration. Current players who are interested in moving to a different team, program or pathway should first speak with their current coach about internal assessment opportunities.

ABOUT THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Taringa Rovers SFC invites new players to submit an Expression of Interest to play with the club in 2027.
Submitting an EOI allows the club to contact you about relevant trials, grading sessions, training and potential team opportunities. There is no cost to submit an EOI. An EOI is not a registration and does not guarantee a place in a team.
PLAYER PROGRAMS
MiniRoos, Under 5 to Under 12
Age-appropriate football for younger players, including in-house programs and Football Queensland competitions.
Community Football, Under 13 to Under 18
Football for players across a range of experience and ability levels. Grading or assessment sessions may be held to place players in the most suitable team.
Football Queensland Academy
A development pathway for players seeking a higher level of training and competition. Selection is through invitation and trial. EOI's for our FQA teams open September 21, 2027.
Senior Football
Men’s and women’s community and competitive teams across multiple divisions, including Under 23 and FQPL pathway opportunities.
Masters
Community football for eligible players who want to remain active, social and competitive.
What happens next
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
After EOIs are reviewed by the relevant coaches and football staff, selected players may be contacted about suitable trials, assessments or team opportunities. Submitting an EOI does not guarantee further contact, an invitation to trial or a place in a team.
Players who are offered a place will receive separate instructions about completing formal registration for the 2027 season.

Coach Expression of Interest – 2027 Season
Taringa Rovers SFC is looking for coaches for the 2027 season, from experienced coaches through to parents interested in coaching their child's team for the first time.
You don't need to be an experienced coach to get involved. If you enjoy football, work well with young people and are keen to contribute to your team and club, we'd like to hear from you.

We are seeking coaches across our MiniRoos, junior, youth, Academy and senior programs, for both boys and girls.

Join us as we celebrate the 2026 season. Every junior player will be recognised with their team medal or trophy.
There will be food trucks, ice cream vans, rides, inflatables, a club BBQ, bar, cake stall and raffles, with plenty of fun for the whole family.
The raffle will be drawn between 8.00 pm and 8.30 pm.

IMPORTANT
Development Clinic Program Overview:
Sessions run over six weeks during term time and are suitable for players of all levels. The focus is on developing individual skills to boost confidence on the ball. Key skills covered include ball mastery, running with the ball, 1v1s, first touch, and striking the ball. Sessions take place in a fun environment and conclude each week with mini-matches.

Thursdays 29 October - 3 December inclusive, 4 pm - 5 pm
Cost: $175 GST Inclusive
Limited spaces available.
Payment Policy:
To secure your place, you must pay $175 in full when booking. Due to demand and an extensive waitlist, registrations without payment will be automatically cancelled.
C-license coach Andy Dixon, the Director of Coaching Juniors, will oversee each session. Andy brings his experience as a former professional player in England, Finland, and Belgium and is now in his seventh year as D.O.C.
Taringa Rovers September School Holiday Clinic - U6 to U12
Taringa Rovers is running a three-day football clinic during the September school holidays, open to all children aged U6 to U12 Non-Taringa Rovers players are welcome to attend.

Drop-off is available from 8:30am

$175 (includes GST)
Program Overview:
Days 1 and 2 will focus on fun games and skill development, including:
Running with the ball
Striking the ball
1 v 1s
First touch
Day 3:
Players aged 8 and over will take part in a Mini World Cup competition, with Nike ball prizes for the winning team.
U6 and U7 players will have their own Mini World Cup competition, with prizes for the winning team.

Sunscreen (additional sunscreen will be available at the venue)

The clinic will be led by Andy Dixon, FFA B- Licence coach and Taringa Rovers Director of Coaching - Juniors.
